Presentation of the UCRI interface of the PMeV

Currently, the control center landscape, especially in Germany, is characterized by the fact that there are still technical limitations in the cooperation between different control centers. This continues with the control of resources, where a wide variety of approaches are pursued and proprietary technologies are used.

This results in media disruptions that have far-reaching, detrimental effects in this environment. Examples of the consequences are increased costs and communication problems.

From the point of view of the authors of this interface, this is no longer an acceptable and justifiable situation in the 21st century! The costs for public safety are also unnecessarily increased without any noticeable technical progress.

Against this background, the Universal Control Center Interface Expert Forum was created with the aim of providing a definition of a universal control center interface for stationary and mobile voice and data applications.

The basic idea of the universal control center interface is to

- to create a manufacturer-independent interface between control systems from different manufacturers

- to enable a wide variety of resources to communicate with control systems from different manufacturers, i.e. to create a common, standardized basis for communication in order to technically map basic processes and thus make them more efficient.
