About Major General Eng. Mădălin-Virgil MIHAI
Major General Eng. Mădălin-Virgil MIHAI is the technical Deputy Director of the Special Telecommunications and was appointed by the Decision no. 103 of the Supreme Council of National Defence, as of September 14th, 2017.
In 1990 he graduated “Ștefan cel Mare” Military High School, Câmpulung Moldovenesc, in 1996 he graduated the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics within the Military Technical Academy, consolidating his military and specialized training by various advanced training courses, the most recent of them being the Managerial training course completed in 2018.
After completing the specialized military training, he was assigned to the Ministry of National Defence where, for two years, he held the position of technical deputy commander of the 93rd Radiolocation Battalion.
In 1998 he transferred to the Special Telecommunications Service, as an officer. Since 2004 he has occupied various leadership positions within the Radio-communications Division: Head of Bureau, Head of Radio Design Sector, deputy commander of the Radio-communications Division, taking command of this unit in 2017.
For the results obtained, he was advanced in rank, in 2013 he was decorated with the Order „Manhood and Faith” in the rank of Knight, and in 2017 he was decorated with the Order „For Merit” in the rank of Knight.
