Dipl.-Ing. The Digital Radio Competence Centre also draws up the central specifications for digital radio for non-police emergency services, the programming for digital radio terminals and represents the interests of non-police emergency services in state and federal committees. Since 2005, he has also been an expert for analogue building and digital mobile radio systems and, in this capacity, a member of various committees such as the DIN standards committee for digital mobile radio systems. Thanks to his professional career in distribution and service, at a professional fire brigade and the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia, he now has over 30 years of experience in professional mobile radio.
