PMRExpo 2025 expands further: High number of registrations and ticket sales have begun
PMRExpo, the leading European trade fair for Secure Communications, is being staged in Cologne from 25 to 27 November. The current high number of exhibitor registrations indicates that even more companies will be represented this year compared to last year. With the exhibition, the PMRExpo Summit, the Connecting Area and the new accompanying symposium "PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik" on the topic of drone and cyber technology, it offers a unique forum for knowledge transfer and networking in the field of secure mission- and business-critical mobile communications. The trade fair primarily addresses public safety organisations (BOS), operators of critical infrastructures (KRITIS) as well as companies from all economic sectors.Due to the changed threat scenario in Europe, the stronger integration of civil and military protection tasks and the resulting related security solutions are increasingly becoming a priority. Communication plays a key role in civil-military cooperation. The need for interoperable systems is especially evident in the field of communications infrastructure. The coordination of joint digital communication solutions is thus increasingly becoming the focus of this year's PMRExpo.
Exhibition, networking and knowledge transfer
Over the three days of the trade fair, more than 260 national and international companies will present their products and solutions. Key areas include application solutions, control centre and security technology, infrastructure components and device accessories. The companies registered so far include among others 450connect, Accellonet, Airbus, Frequentis, HMF, Hytera, Jungmann Systemstechnik, Motorola, pei tel, Selectric, Sopra Steria, Tassta, T-Systems, Vivasecur and Voxtronic.
Once again in 2025 the exhibitors in the "5G Hub for Private Networks" will demonstrate live how private 5G networks are redefining networked applications in industry, logistics, security and critical infrastructures. The visitors will experience real-world scenarios and technological innovations that boost efficiency, flexibility and security while maintaining full data sovereignty.
An accompanying specialised programme on the topic of 5G entitled "Private 5G live - solutions for networked security and digital sovereignty" will take place on the stage in the Connecting Area on the first day. The Connecting Area is the central networking platform of the PMRExpo and invites the visitors to exchange knowledge and network. The three-day programme is diversified and offers exciting insights into the industry.
The Hackathon@PMRExpo powered by Corevas has established itself as a successful format and is entering its third round this year. Under the motto “Technology meets crisis – shaping the communication of tomorrow,” interdisciplinary teams will develop AI-supported, practical and socially relevant solutions for crisis communication in the course of a 48-hour design and coding marathon.
PMRExpo Summit
The three-day PMRExpo Summit is taking place parallel to the PMRExpo and provides information on the latest trends and developments in secure mission and business-critical communications. Renowned speakers will examine the current challenges, present practical solutions and offer insights into examples of proven best practice.
The first day (Tuesday) will focus on communications and solutions for critical infrastructures, on Wednesday the summit concentrates on public safety organisations, on Thursday the programme is dedicated to control centres. A separate ticket is required for admission to the PMRExpo Summit.
PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik symposium
For the first time, the PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik symposium will take place during the PMRExpo. The symposium aims to foster the exchange between the German armed forces, public safety organisations and industry. The PMRExpo is thus introducing a new format that addresses the current challenges with practical solutions. This year, the symposium will concentrate on the technical and regulatory aspects of military drone operations and cybersecurity. Admission to the symposium is included in the ticket for the PMRExpo Summit.

PMRExpo 2025 wächst weiter: Starker Anmeldestand und Ticketverkauf gestartet
Vom 25. bis 27. November findet die PMRExpo 2025, die Europäische Leitmesse für Sichere Kommunikation, in Köln statt. Der aktuelle starke Anmeldestand der Aussteller lässt darauf schließen, dass in diesem Jahr noch mehr Unternehmen als im Vorjahr vertreten sein werden. Mit der Fachausstellung, dem PMRExpo Summit, der Connecting Area und dem neuen, begleitenden Symposium „PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik“ zum Thema Drohnen- und Cybertechnologie, bietet sie ein einzigartiges Forum für Wissenstransfer und Networking rund um die sichere, einsatz- und geschäftskritische mobile Kommunikation. Die Fachmesse richtet sich insbesondere an Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BOS), Betreiber Kritischer Infrastrukturen (KRITIS) sowie Unternehmen aus allen Wirtschaftssektoren.Aufgrund der geänderten Bedrohungslage in Europa rückt die stärkere Verflechtung ziviler und militärischer Schutzaufgaben und damit abgestimmte Sicherheitslösungen verstärkt in den Vordergrund. In der zivil-militärischen Zusammenarbeit spielt Kommunikation eine zentrale Rolle. Besonders im Bereich der Kommunikationsinfrastruktur wird der Bedarf an interoperablen Systemen deutlich. Die Abstimmung gemeinsamer digitaler Kommunikationslösungen rückt daher vermehrt in den Fokus der diesjährigen PMRExpo.
Fachausstellung, Networking und Wissenstransfer

Besucherinnen und Besucher erleben praxisnahe Szenarien und technologische Innovationen, die Effizienz, Flexibilität und Sicherheit steigern und gleichzeitig Datensouveränität gewährleisten.
In der Connecting Area findet am ersten Tag erstmalig ein begleitendes Fachprogramm zum Thema 5G mit dem Titel „Private 5G live – Lösungen für vernetzte Sicherheit und digitale Souveränität“ Platz auf der Bühne. Die Connecting Area ist die zentrale Networking-Plattform der PMRExpo und lädt zum Wissensaustausch und Netzwerken ein. Das dreitägige Programm ist vielseitig und bietet spannende Einblicke in die Branche.
Der Hackathon@PMRExpo powered by Corevas hat sich als Erfolgsformat etabliert und geht dieses Jahr in die dritte Runde. Unter dem Motto „Technologie trifft Krise – gestalte die Kommunikation von morgen“ entwickeln interdisziplinäre Teams in einem 48-Stunden-Design- und Coding-Marathon KI-gestützte, praxistaugliche und gesellschaftlich relevante Lösungen für die Kommunikation in Krisensituationen.
PMRExpo Summit
Der dreitägige PMRExpo Summit findet parallel zur PMRExpo statt und informiert über die neuesten Trends und Entwicklungen in der sicheren einsatz- und geschäftskritischen Kommunikation. Renommierte Referentinnen und Referenten beleuchten aktuelle Herausforderungen, präsentieren praxistaugliche Lösungen und geben Einblicke in bewährte Best Practices.
Am ersten Tag (Dienstag) stehen Kommunikation und Lösungen für Kritische Infrastrukturen im Fokus; am Mittwoch wendet sich der Summit speziell an die BOS; am Donnerstag widmet sich das Programm den Leitstellen. Für den Zugang zum PMRExpo Summit ist ein separates Ticket erforderlich.
Symposium „PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik“
Das Symposium „PMRExpo meets Wehrtechnik“ begleitet 2025 erstmals die PMRExpo und soll den Austausch zwischen Bundeswehr, BOS und Industrie fördern. Damit führt die PMRExpo ein Format ein, das aktuelle Herausforderungen praxisnah adressiert und sich in diesem Jahr sowohl den technischen und regulatorischen Fragen des militärischen Drohneneinsatzes als auch den Aspekten der Cybersecurity widmet. Der Zugang zum Symposium ist im Ticket für den PMRExpo Summit enthalten.
