About Fabian Hofmann
Fabian Hofmann studied computer science at the Technical University of Berlin with a focus on distributed systems and AI-supported IT operations and security. In the last 3 years he worked at the DAI Lab and the Centre of Explainable Artificial Intelligence Berlin in various projects, from intelligent and digitalised road infrastructures, to the safety solutions of autonomous driving, to distributed incident detection in 5G wireless networks.
AI-supported decentralised data processing for the distributed detection and prediction of incidents and attacks is a must for the high-speed, low-latency requirements of 5G RANs and edge computing networks in general to ensure their integrity and security.
