About Alexander Poitz
As deputy federal chairman of the executive board of the German Police Union (GdP), Alexander Poitz is responsible for areas including digitalization, artificial intelligence, and criminal policy. He joined the police force and the GdP in 2007. Since then, he has held various positions in the emergency response, security, and criminal investigation departments, as well as in staff work.
