Since November 2023, Head of the Crisis Management Division and Head of the Warning and Situation Management Division (BBK). Prior to that, he held various leadership roles within the THW leadership (Policy, Operations, Logistics, and Director of the Training and Continuing Education Center) and in the Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Head of Staff, IT Manager). Since October 2016, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the German Committee for Disaster Prevention (DKKV). June 2015–September 2020: Vice Chair of the Expert Advisory Board of the Coordination Office for the Security Industry at DIN; Chair since October 2020.
