WHAT’S NEXT?
Three days. Real challenges. New technologies. And, at the end, a working prototype.
At Hackathon@PMRExpo 2026 in cooperation with COREVAS, developers, students, start-ups, emergency responders, companies, and creative minds come together to develop new solutions for the future of critical communications.
Working in interdisciplinary teams, you will tackle real-world challenges from the fields of public safety, critical infrastructure, and communications. Together with your team, you will use emerging technologies, develop ideas further, and build a working prototype within three days.
This is about more than just ideas on PowerPoint slides.
Your idea could become a prototype. Perhaps a product. Maybe even your next company

Partner and Organiser
MORE THAN JUST A HACKATHON
Over the years, Hackathon@PMRExpo has grown into a community of around 500 members from the fields of technology, public safety, critical communications, and industry.
It is not just about generating as many ideas as possible during the event. We want to bring people together, make technologies accessible, and create an environment where an idea can evolve into something that continues to thrive long after the hackathon is over.
The past few years have shown that this approach works:
- One hackathon project led to the founding of a start-up that received support through the EXIST Business Start-up Grant.
- Following the 2025 hackathon, another company was founded based on an idea developed during the event.
