Civil-military cooperation for authorities and organisations with security tasks (BOS), Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS) and the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr)
How can secure communication be assured when crisis situations become more complex, organisations work together more closely and communications channels also need to remain available under high stress conditions? The PMRExpo Symposium supported by CPM Verlag in 2026 is dedicated to resilient mission communication in the context of civil-military cooperation.

The trade programme brings together participants from BOS, Bundeswehr, KRITIS, industry, administration, politics and research. The focus is on current requirements, interfaces and approaches to solutions for secure and interoperable communication across organisations in crisis and defence situations.
Communication as the foundation for joint capacity to act
Whether in major damage situations, for the protection of Critical Infrastructures or in civil-military cooperation: secure communication is a central prerequisite for organisations being able to share situation information, coordinate decisions and remain capable of action.
The symposium indicates which requirements for mission communication are relevant today and will arise in the coming years. Lectures and exchange formats show how resilient communications structures are being developed further.
Participants acquire orientation with regard to current developments, insight into interfaces between organisations and impulses for secure and future-capable mission communication.

For whom is the symposium relevant?

The symposium is oriented to skilled workers and managers who are strategically, technically or operatively responsible for communication, leadership, operational safety or resilience in critical mission and operations environments:
Bundeswehr and military leadership
Security and emergency response organisations – including the police, fire brigade, emergency services and disaster protection
Operators of Critical Infrastructures
Industry and technology providers
Administration and politics

Focus themes

The trade programme (the detailed programme schedule is soon to come) illuminates resilient mission communication from several perspectives:
