Dr. Christoph Hübner

Born in 1969, Dr. Hübner held various positions at the Federal Ministry of the Interior beginning in 2003. Among other roles, he served as chief of staff for the minister’s office under Federal Minister of the Interior Horst Seehofer. Most recently, he served as Permanent Representative of the Department of Civil Defense, Disaster Relief, and Gun Control. In 2026, Dr. Hübner was appointed President of the BDBOS.
