Volker Hartwein

Volker Hartwein has been with Frequentis since 2004. Prior to that, he spent several years at EADS Telecom Deutschland GmbH (Key Account Manager for control center solutions) and AEG Mobile Communication GmbH (Project Manager Public Safety). Due to his extensive experience in the field of control centers and mobile communications, Volker Hartwein has been appointed Director of Business Development Public Safety at Frequentis Germany. His current focus is on the strategic market launch of Frequentis MissionX – a 3GPP-standardized system solution for safety-critical communication via 4G/5G mobile networks. From 2013 to 2022, Volker Hartwein chaired the control center division of the German association “Professioneller Mobilfunk e.V., PMeV – NETZWERK FÜR SICHERE KOMMUNIKATION” (Professional Mobile Communications Association, PMeV – NETWORK FOR SECURE COMMUNICATION). In 2017, Volker Hartwein was elected to the PMeV Executive Board and in 2019 he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board.
