Michael Bauer

Mr Bauer was involved in the preparations for the introduction of BOS digital radio at the Hamburg Fire Brigade from an early stage, from a non-police perspective. As sub-project manager of the Hamburg state project group for the development and introduction of BOS digital radio, Mr Bauer was, among other things, a founding member of the working group on tactical and operational cooperation. After working as head of division in the Department of Public Safety, Fire and Civil Protection at the Hamburg Ministry of the Interior and Sport, Mr Bauer took over as head of the Authorised Body in 2018 and was entrusted with the management of the Central Office for Digital Radio in 2024.
