Stefan Wächter

Mr. Wächter has been working for the Lower Saxony police force since 1996, primarily in the technical field and, since 2000, also in the area of digital radio for public safety organizations (BOS). Since 2012, he has headed the Authorized Digital Radio Agency of Lower Saxony (ASDN), which has 150 employees and supports around 91,000 active BOS terminals in Lower Saxony, among other things. From February 2019 to August 2020, as head of the Digital Radio Coordination Agency (KSDN) in what is now the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior, Sport, and Digitalization, he was responsible for the further development of the BOS digital radio network, broadband services, and control center technology. He is also currently in charge of the MCx BOS NI project.
