Dr. Thomas Laurent

Thomas Laurent is a recognized expert in photonics, quantum technologies, and space exploration with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He was co-founder and CTO/Managing Director of eagleyard Photonics (now part of the Toptica Photonics Group), a manufacturer of high-performance laser diodes. With his experience from participating in traditional space missions (such as GAIA, CATS, CAL, and EXO Mars), he moved into the new space sector dealing with satellite communication services. At Rivada Space Networks, he is responsible for sales for government and regulatory affairs throughout the German-speaking region. He holds a doctorate in physical chemistry.
