NeuroComm is POLYN’s solution for voice enhancement and reliable hands-free operation for two-way radio headsets. The demonstration leverages the company’s NeuroVoice™ AI voice-processing technology, built on its NASP™ (Neuromorphic Analog Signal Processing) platform, to deliver unparalleled clarity and control for mission-critical communications in noisy environments.
At Booth E-052, attendees will experience firsthand how NeuroComm enables users of two-way radio headsets to speak and listen clearly in high-noise settings — while operating completely hands-free, thanks to voice-activated control and intelligent voice extraction.
The solution is designed to provide a unique and affordable headset upgrade in areas such as public safety, construction, firefighting, security, and industrial communications.
Key Highlights of the Demo:
Reliable activation of radio transmission by a human voice based on AI pre-processing, unlike existing VOX systems in radios, which perform poorly as they are triggered by any noise.
Speaker recognition: the trained voice can activate the radio transmission, while another person’s voice cannot.
Two-way voice extraction: the transmitted and received signals are cleaned of noise
Command recognition: radio transmission is activated and ended by voice commands.
The solution features edge-embedded privacy and latency-free performance, where AI voice processing occurs at the sensor. This eliminates dependency on high-power-consuming MCUs, ensuring robustness and private operation.
Built on four POLYN’s NASP analog neural cores, NeuroComm is optimized for microwatt-level ultra-low power, enabling integration into battery-powered headsets, body-worn radios, and sensor nodes.
